What We Do

At Little Birds Play Care, our goal is to provide your child with a safe and secure environment where they can learn and develop while having fun. Our staff of industry professionals will teach your kid essential academic, emotional, and social skills through engaging lessons and activities.

Our Founder

Sophie Peets is a stay-at-home mom of three with a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University. She worked in the corporate world for 10 years. During that time, she realized that she wanted to stay at home with her kids and start a new venture in child care. This realization led to her opening up Little Birds in October 2010.

She has several years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and school-age children. Every job she ever had before receiving her degree in business administration was in child care and development. Her philosophy on child care is simple: Treat all children under her care like they are her own. This extends to the emotional support they receive at home while encouraging positive behavior in our daycare.
